We will ask participants to wear an actiwatch to record sleep/wake patterns and physical activities 24 hours a day for 15 consecutive days. The device is very lightweight and water-resistant. You can wear it even when you swim, shower, exercise, and clean it with soap. You will also be asked to complete a sleep/wake and event diary throughout the 15 days. Completing the diary should only take 5 minutes each day.
Once the actiwatch has been returned, we will download your record and generate a report for you with analysis by the actiwatch software. If you are interested, Dr. Kerner the Principal Investigator, will discuss your results with you.
Participant Eligibility:
All participants from Dr. Luchsinger TOPAD study will be eligible and invited to participate in the proposed study. We are committed to achieving a study sample representative of the local community. No potential participant will be excluded based on race, gender, or ethnicity.
